I have a miniature video camera w/ audio set up outside (under an overhang) for security. Was looking to improve the audio on it with this microphone, but this turned out to be worthless.

Must be for speech only where you can have it clipped to your lower lip…

    Disappointed..

I bought this product for adding voice recordings to powerpoint presentations. Unfortunately the voice can barely be heard. I’ve adjusted all the audio levels in the control panel as well as the microphone level within powerpoint and there is no improvement. When they describe this product “Ideal aerobics/dance/sports-instructors” they must really mean it.

I bought this mic hoping to improve the sound from my video camera, but instead it got considerably worse. Despite its cute appearance, this mic produces static and little else. I didn’t expect the quality I would get from an expensive mic, but I was hoping that it would at least WORK! Nothing!!! Nothing!!! and more Nothing!!! I waited too long to return it and now it is going in the electronics recycling bin. You get what you pay for or in this case considerably LESS than what you pay for.

When I attached this to my collar, plugged it into an amplifier, and turned up the amp enough to make my singing louder, the result was hum and feedback. When I lowered the volume on the amplifier, then nothing was being accomplished.

I do wonder if I just got the same item that has been rated low and returned by others. I plugged it into the microphone jack and nothing happened. I asked a friend who had worked with the same product before, and he thought it should have been plug and play. I returned it and got a Griffin mic instead.
