My computer lost some reg files and we had to have Windows XP reinstalled. Now that it is working right again it doesn’t recognize the second hard drive I used for storage. That drive has data on it that I do not want to lose. How can I get the computer to recognize the storage drive without losing the data on it?
I just bought a Sandisk MobileMate Memory card reader and a Kodak MicroSD 1 GB memory card. I formatted the card on my Verizon LG 8300 phone and transferred pictures to it. But when I plug it into the MobileMate and insert that into my computer, the computer does not recognize the disk. It shows up the F: Drive and then says Please insert a disk. The disk is already in the reader!!! Help! How do I get it to work??
Thanks.
My old computer died. I purchased a lot of songs on that computer. Is there a way for me to get that music back and onto my new computer?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. I read a story about someone being able to train their computer to only turn on when they say “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” and it logs off when they say “Mischief Managed.” I was wondering if you have to have a certain laptop to do this. If not, how can I train my computers to recognize my saying passwords?

I have another computer and it has a really bad virus. I don’t know if I can go online with it or not, I know it’s really slow. I’d like to start over, I don’t care about losing files. Is there a way I can download an antivirus program for free while on the computer?
If I had the backup disc I wouldn’t be askign the question.
Most of my homework involves a computer in some way. Sometimes I have to type someting, other times I have to work on something with a friend through Facebook or do research. The problem I have is that I can easily get off task and end up watching cartoons or looking through amazon for cool stuff and video games. How can I stay focused? Should I move my computer to the living room?
