I’m curious how to get laptop insurance after warranty is up with the company. Since you aren’t allowed to re-new it. I hear someone say they had insurance on their laptop through a different thing, but didn’t ask much detail how.

It has Windows XP on it (not sure if that makes a difference). How do I configure the netbook to correctly display with the projector, instead of getting a blue screen on the wall?

My computer crashed, so I have to use a company-owned laptop for now. I am not the administrator on said laptop. It’s bugging the hell out of me that I can’t watch youtube videos or stream music on playlist. Is there ANY way to install the flashplayer plug in without administrative privileges? I’ve been told so many times that it’s impossible, but there has got to be some way you can cheat it?

I just got a new netbook for having good grades and for some reason it wont let me change the background I tried going to the control panel and typing in change background. I would appreciate a good detailed answer thank you

Is it really safe to do Defragmentation regularly? because I’m planning to defragment my laptop and it’s my first time to do it, that’s why I’m hesitating that it might not be a good idea, and I’m not sure what will happen after. Would it change the current arrangements and settings and everything in my computer?

I know when you buy the HP mini vivienne tam edition it comes with a sleeve with the red floral print. I wanted to just get that sleeve for my netbook that I already have, any suggestions? Thank you.

Do you use an encryption software program or do you get the laptop with an encrypted hard drive to be HIPAA compliant? Any idea of cost? This would be for a sole practitioner, not a large medical practice.

How do I get to a list of all the available wireless networks? Or how do I download the drivers for my wireless card, while on an Ethernet connection to the internet.

Remember, this is the netbook version, not the desktop version. And, I’m a total newbie with this stuff, so go easy on the terminology and steps you give, so that anyone, even a 10 year old, could understand .
