Product Description
This state of the art coffeemaker lets you fine tune the process from filtering the water you brew with to keeping the brewed coffee at the precise temperature you desire. If you’re the impatient type you can grab a cup before brewing is complete (or program your coffee to be ready and waiting at wake up time), and if you tend to be forgetful, this appliance has auto shut off. I paid handsomely for this item to be delivered in 2-3 days. The shipper chose FedEx to ship it and they couldn’t get it out on time even though it was going from Louisville KY to Indianapolis, IN-a four hour drive. Buy from a different seller.

This was the first time I have ordered from Amazon and I am very pleased.

I ordered this and some wine glasses. Everything came and no damage…not even to the wine glasses. I like the looks of this coffee maker (just got this afternoon)and I look forward to my first cup of coffee tomorrow.

The reviews helped me in making a decision.

For environment concious consumers who want one product and just repair it as time goes on, DO NOT BUY FROM CUISINART- they do not repair cofffee makers!

If your coffeemaker is out of warrenty- you have to buy a new one- they won’t repair it- even if you’re happy to pay for it to be repaired!

So, the broken one just goes into the landfull.

    Sad, very sad. isn’t it?

Contrary to Book-a-holic Bob’s contention that the “bellyaching” is crap, it certainly is not. Having owned this machine, these are two very real issues that make an otherwise great coffee maker problematic. For the price and the “name” associated with it, these things could and should be corrected.

Ours was recently fried in an electrical storm and I am having second thoughts about getting another one.

Grew up in tornado alley and live within a few miles of a Marine base – both the sirens from childhood and the live artillery fail to compare with the sheer sound volume of this machine grinding coffee. This machine should be advertised as an alarm clock. The ability to vary coffee strength is limited to whether you want a medium or weak cup of coffee. Takes ten minutes to clean if you can get the grinding element out of the machine. Buy only if you haven’t the funds to purchase a real coffee pot with a stainless steel exterior. Thank goodness I bought it at a place that allows for returns.
