There’s always a fandangled new masterpiece of kitchen equipment in the latest ‘ad section’ . . . This time it’s a combination POP-UP toaster with oven, plus innumerable “how-to-use-it-pages” to be studied. Since the primary consumer is not a teenager, it may be months before all the necessary information is absorbed & ‘connections’ made! (Wouldn’t an instruction book have more appeal IF SKINNIER??)

In today’s world of diet-madness, slimmer has to be better, doesn’t it! Is that true of kitchen appliances, too? The *Toastation* definitely takes up less cabinet space than our former *toaster oven* but the oven dimensions should have been stretched a bit to accommodate, for example, more English muffins.

Reviewer mcHAIKU may need time to mull this over . . . give it the courtesy of a longer trial run, and all those other cliche excuses for indecision. Right now the *TOASTation* looks shiny & grand on a torn-up cabinet top, adding a hint of encouragement.

The oven part of this toaster is very small but it works very good. A toaster cost $29 and a oven cost $29 but this one which has both and works excellent and which is a most have cost only $30 with both of them combined. I am very satisfied with my buy and if your looking for a toaster, an oven or both. Then look no further this one is a must!

We are very happy with this HB toastation toaster. I have thawed a bagel and then toasted it successfully; the window allows one to watch the progess. The dial has a range of settings for toast preferences. I am not a big oven user, but I “crisped” up a baked potato from the microwave just fine. It is also easy to clean (there is a just tray to pull out) unlike pesky toaster ovens I have had in the past.

It looks good and it doesn’t take a lot of space. I think the oven works better than the toaster; but anyway I do like the concept of having the toaster for slices or bagles and a separate small oven.
