Motorola should stop making GPS units altogether. Their units are not well thought out, the 3-D guidance is poor and they choose to not issue map updates at will. People spend their hard earned money for a GPS that becomes worthless sooner rather than later. Steer clear of any Motorola GPS unit unless you want to waste your money!

this has got to be the coolest GPS I’ve seen in a long time….. love the split screen and google search is really cool.
got to get one installed as well – would save me a chunk of money on the dealer fit option for nav and I can take it out of the car and use it on the street.

Just a heads-up that 3D Landmarks for the US cannot be downloaded yet at the Motorola site. They are “Coming Soon.” Which is kind of interesting because they are listed as released 2009 Q2. It is a one time upload.
I contacted Motorola (3/18) and they have no idea when the 3D landmarks will be available.

I am a person who is navigationally challenged. If I think I should turn left, I probably should turn right. With the Motorola Motonav portable GPS system, I no longer have to worry if I’ll ever reach my destination. The system is easy to use, gives good routing and is easy to follow. I was able to reach my destination without having a panic attack. In fact, I was relaxed. Everything about this system speaks to ease, access, good routing and good instructions. I highly recommend it.

So far i dont have any glithes in this unit,it works fine to me. I tried so many GPS but this is more a user firendly for travelers just like having a Tourist Guide on the Road, I dont have any complaines and it works well. All the important details and features that i need are available and one thing for sure theres no other GPS in the market right now with a 5.1 cinematic big screen that has a lot of features.Bluetooth is a plus factor with a voice command using sms.Lifetime Traffic update gives you the situation the cause of delay and clearing time and unlimited Point of Interest via GOOGLE Search thru Bing Live search is one of the most needed when u get stuck in the middle of the road.Im happy with this wonderful GPS and my family were enjoying it while driving from one place to another.
