Though when it works, it really really works, sometimes it just doesn’t. The file types are supposedly supported, but it can’t read them off the USB or off a DVD. Overall we’re happy with it, but wish it didn’t have issues with the files.

Arrived quick and worked right out of the box. Has all the features I needed for a good price. Compatibility was a huge issue. I needed it to play .jpg slideshows, .avi collections and anything DivX. As long as it holds up to the test of time I will be incredibly grateful.

We bought this for the Audio side, but I am sure the video will be equally good. The quality of this player surpasses average hdmi player such as sony, lg, samsung. I have owned all four and the others are cheap feeling and lack any features and not even 24bit audio which is why we bought it.

I had a previous Pioneer DVD player that played DivX files. The Philips player I had previously had trouble playing videos without a slight stutter and the Pioneers seem fine. This player is also great and much smaller so it fits fine on my daughter’s bookshelf.

It works really good on everything but DIVX. I have burned many DVD disks on DIVX. They play back on the computer but not on the Pineer unit. The only reason I bought it was for DIVX playback.
I can’t find out how to use the USB recording . HELP !
This is the first time I have done anything like this . (review I Mean)
