April 21st, 2010 No comments

T-Mobile USA today announced the exclusive availability of the new Garminfone Android smartphone by Garmin Asus. The Garminfone will be available later this spring and comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen, WiFi, pre-loaded GPS navigation maps and software and 3 megapixel camera.

The GPS features are integrated tightly with the Android OS. You can navigate to an address simply by clicking on it from a text message or e-mail, contact, calendar appointment, or web page. There is also a car locator function to remember where you have parked your car. For more customization fun, Garmin Asus has created the Garmin Voice Studio Android software to let you record and share custom voice directions from family or friends.

When available, the retail package will include a convenient charging window and dashboard mount, enabling you to easily navigate and charge the phone’s battery simultaneously.
