Sometimes i shut down my computer by mistake . Does anyone know how to stop the computer from shutting down ?

I’ ve been downloading large game files lately, and they always last until around 2AM. But I dont wish to leave my computer on all night until I get up in the morning. I also dont want to get up around 2 just to turn it off. Is there a way for me to set a timer for the computer to shut off at a specific time?
What is some good movie making software for windows computer? I am trying to create AMVs and movies with special effects. Please if you know any software that is available for me to get to make these videos it would be appreciated.

My first computer is connected to a wireless modem. I want to connect a second computer, at the other end of the house, to the internet but without having to use an Ethernet cable and without a Wifi card in the computer. I have a phone port next to it and a DSL filter. Can I do it? If so what else do I need?

I always ask questions on Yahoo! Answers and I am on a shared computer. One of the people whom I share my computer with also goes onto Yahoo! Answers and every time they type in a question in the Ask your question column, they can see what I have previously asked. How do I change this so that my questions don`t save into this computer? A computer is just a bunch of chips and wires. The chips are just silicon, how do they “communicate” which each other to make decisions for the computer. I already know that they work with each other, but how do silicon pieces do all of this.
