How much money does an Electronics systems technician make?

I am going on a trip to China one week from now and I need an electrical adapter so that I can use my electronics from the United States in China. Where can I order one of these online?

He is an reaserch engeneer and loves electronics like a GPS with turn by turn navigation that hooks up to a PDA. He also loves space!

I,m really interesting to up-date my knowlege on electronics field.

I’d like to know if as a electronics technician, will i ever see combat? Like say if I am assigned to a rotary wing squadron, can i volunteer for flight duty?

Is there a page on the Internet or newsletter or someway i could find out what toys, gadgets or electronics are coming out soon and expect to sell like hot cakes?

I often find schematics online for circuits I’d like to build. I know my way around a soldering iron and I know where to get parts, but my knowledge of electronics is limited.

I’m looking for a resource that will let me translate what I seen in a schematic into something I can build without learning the theory. (Yes, this makes me a poser and a Bad Person. I accept this.)

Is it just a matter of connecting *this* lead from *this* component to *that* lead from *that* component? I see many with, say, a +12V connection — where does the -12V connect? That’s the kind of stuff that I’m looking for answers to.

Yes, I know I should learn all the background, but honestly I’m only planning the occasional tinkering, and I didn’t learn organic chem to start a garden.
