What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done with computers or gadgets?

March 23rd, 2011 4 comments

Examples:
Installed Linux on your PS3 and used it as a desktop computer?
Wrote an app for your own iPhone?
Setup a wireless network to transfer music to your car stereo somehow (obviously when the car is near your house)?
Used your desktop to record TV, then used an HDMI cable to playback HD movies/TV on a flatscreen?
etc.

What is the difference between AGPS and GPS in mobiles?

March 12th, 2011 2 comments

I’ve been looking at the HTC Touch Diamond and IPhone 3G and I noticed that IPhone 3G only has AGPS while Diamond has both.
I did a search and found out that AGPS is assisted by cellular towers and etc to pinpoint location more precisely.

I’m curious as to whether will using AGPS and GPS incur charges from my network provider?
