I am trying to search for connections, but the laptop can’t find any. The modem is connected by Ethernet cable to a desktop already, but I just purchased this laptop and it can’t find the wireless connection. This modem is supposed to have both wireless and ethernet cabled.
I’ll be traveling to Korea in a couple weeks and i was wondering if i needed to get transformers/adapters for my laptop, phone, and other electronics. I’m sure their voltages are different from America, though i don’t know how but i don’t want my electronics to ruin. If i do need them where can i find them?
I have a HP laptop that is 13 months old. Screen went black but everything still lit up. No matter what I tried it would not work. I took it in and was told it needed a new motherboard. I asked how much it would cost and was told it would be cheaper to purchase a new laptop. Please advise on how much this typically costs, because the laptop cost me $1000.00. Thank you!
I just got a laptop for my birthday. I would like to get my itunes library to my laptop from my family’s computer. I had a lot of music on there. I dont think my laptop even has itunes. Could someone please tell me what i should do?
I have windows xp and I am connected directly to a modem and I have comcast as my ISP. My brother has Vista on his laptop. Is there way he can connect to my computer with a phone chord? If i goes from my computer to his laptop? And I also tried connecting his laptop straight to my modem and unplugged mine. But it tried to automatically configure the settings for the network, but it couldnt. Can someone maybe give me some assistance?
My mom wants to get my little sister a laptop, but she is only 13. I think she would be better off getting her a netbook since they are more portable and are cheaper. What do you think?
Hi, I have a hip-hop crew and I’m about to put Pro-tools onto a nice laptop. Only problem is, I need to know what laptop to buy. I don’t want something cheap or something that is low quality. I’m looking @ Alienware computers but really, they’re very expensive. So whats up, what computer should I get? Definatley not a compaq or a Dell. Dude I’m not getting a Dell.
I’m expecting answers like “desktops use more powerful parts than a laptop” but this isn’t always true, because my laptop is more powerful than my desktop, and my laptop is doesn’t make any noise at all, and my desktop does.
