What is a new car that is around 25K that is easily upgradeable performance wise?

May 14th, 2011 5 comments

I am looking to buy a new car I would like a car around 20-25K that is either fast stock or can easily be upgraded. I would prefer something that is not 4 cylinder and something that takes turns well.

What is an inexpensive car with lots of potential for performance upgrades?

May 1st, 2011 25 comments

I was planning on purchasing a new car and wanted someone else’s opinion. I really like the WRX STI but the gas mileage is too low for fuel costs these days. I also like the Lancer EVO but I’m having a hard time finding one for an affordable price. I just want a car that I could use for everyday transportation that I can upgrade over time.

Any help would be great.

Hello, i have a very low end machine that i would like to bring back to life. Its 1.1 ghz Pentium 4, 512 mb ddr ram, Radeon 9000 series. Using laptop software to control effects for live performance?

March 22nd, 2011 1 comment

Are there any free programs that will allow me to use VST plugins to set up a virtual effect chain and trigger them on the fly for live performance?

My goal is to hook up a mic to the laptop and then out to a PA to basically have a multi-effect pedal for vocal effects and “click” them on the fly to trigger delay/distortion/harmony etc as quickly and effectively as a regular effect chain but for a lot less cost.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
