I have a new client that is running an Exchange Server. I have not personally worked with Exchange Server, but one of my options is to recommend to him whether or not I should have him stay with in-house mail services or not. What types of things would you look for besides version of software and hardware specifications of the server? I’ll be having access to it tomorrow. Thanks!
I need a good project to start in the Minecraft server I play on. Materials are not a problem, it’s creative. Preferably a real building, historical. There has been a ton of stuff build on this server, so I will tell you if your idea has already been built.
tl;dr even if its not long, suggest things for me to build in minecraft, pref real historical buildings
I need to have 10 Desktop and 10 Laptop computers all networked together and all hooked up to 1 server. Also (3) 24″ monitors need to be hooked up to each desktop computer. I would like to know what I need for this project and what it would cost to get it done. It is for a small business just starting out.
How would I make a legitimate IRC server, and I don’t care if it costs money. I don’t want any of those cheap server makers that can only hold 20-30 people, I mean real good server stuff.
I am looking for a high population alliance server for world of warcraft. What would be the best suggestion?
I want to run xp on it because the old one ran on xp is there a program that helps with transfering the files from the old server to the new server too if anyone knows.
I am thinking about running a home-based windows server (since I have no real experience with Unix-based ones), do you have any suggestion on a way to easily secure it from hacking attempts and such without expensive equipment?
