Placed my order…PC Universe seemed to be the lowest offeror at the moment. They accepted my order, but then promptly canceled it the next day with something about my credit card not going through…but I order plenty of other stuff in the same cart, from different vendors…and they didn’t seem to have a problem charging the same card. Lesson…if the price seems to low to be true…it probably is. I just wish Amazon had a better way of filtering out the hucksters.

This cable makes for a bad picture. Went back to component and I’m sending this back.

I received the cable in a timely manner and it plugs into my camcorder just fine. I haven’t yet transferred any videos to my HDTV but I don’t expect any problems. My only very minor complaint is that it would’ve been nice to know if this cable is version 1.3 or 1.4 (I doubt it) compliant.

I bought this for my SD780, and I have no problem with it. I don’t really see the need for a really expensive cable. I have no problems with it and it stays connected to my TV and waits for my camera to be connected.

I was a little worried after reading several reviews that this cable had to be held “just so” to work. Not the case for me. Has worked like a charm. No issues whatsoever. Audio and video are crisp and clear. It was the perfect solution (although it should have come with the camera in the first place!!!) at a great price.
