Purchased two of this HDD for backup, based also on some external reviews. So far no problems, hope that the relative low data amount / density will also give a good lifetime.

Works good so far , and darn cheep, 25 years ago this drive would have cost well over $1000.00

I bought this drive to replace a dead drive on a Dell Inspiron 531. Installation was easy because I replaced the exact same drive and saved the computer because it would not even boot from the old drive. This was easier and cheaper than taking it in for service and now I have a clean new dirve that should last several years.

My computer now runs like new.

Hard drive went in daughter’s computer, this one worked perfectly as a replacement. We had someone put it in, but watched & it was so simple we could have done it ourselves. Got her computer up & running in no time!
